Eating Disorders Early Intervention Outpatient Service

Early identification, assessment, referral and treatment of people with disordered eating symptoms or those in the early stages of an eating disorder. (and their families)

Free, part time 'early treatment' service with clinics Monday and Thursday. Staffed by part time clinical psychologist, social worker, dietitian and and co-ordinator. Clients: all ages, both genders Criteria: Anorexia Nervosa for less than one year, Bulimia Nervosa and Eating Disorders Not Otherwise Specified (EDNOS) up to 5 years duration. Must have a General Practitioner before starting treatment with the service
